The Substance Abuse Counselor plays a key role in supporting clients through their recovery journey by providing compassionate, evidence-based care. This role involves working directly with clients to assess their needs, create individualized treatment plans, and lead both individual and group counseling sessions. The counselor provides education, relapse prevention support, and helps connect clients to vital resources such as housing and employment services. Clinical documentation and participation in ongoing professional development are essential aspects of the role.
- Conduct comprehensive substance use assessments
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans

Behavioral Health Case Manage
The Behavioral Health Case Manager supports clients with mental health and/or substance use needs by providing case management, advocacy, and coordination of care. This role ensures clients receive the resources, support, and services necessary to promote long-term stability and recovery, while maintaining compliance with all regulatory requirements.
This position involves conducting client assessments, developing individualized care plans, and working closely with families, clinicians, and community partners to support client progress. The Case Manager also ensures accurate documentation, compliance with the Virginia Administrative Code, and participates in training and collaboration with the clinical team. The role offers flexibility (on-site or remote) while maintaining a strong connection to the overall care team.

This role combines strategy, relationship-building, and hands-on engagement to connect with referral sources, organizations, and the broader community in meaningful and impactful ways.
This position involves executing a proactive outreach plan through drop-ins, meetings, events, and education. The Outreach Coordinator will represent BeBold Recovery at health fairs, community meetings, and strategic partnerships. Responsibilities include coordinating tours, logging outreach in the CRM, developing materials, and working closely with the leadership team to ensure alignment with growth goals.
